I have a unique approach for how we help guide the planning process for weddings because of just how individualized a wedding can be. I currently offer two different guides for DIY wedding planning as well as complete consulting services; descriptions and prices are below. At the end of the day, no matter what type of event you are planning Chelsea Evelyn Consulting can guide you through the steps. Every event deserves to be special and, of course, every event is unique.

The Wedding Planners Guide to Your DIY Wedding

What it is: A non-customized, extensive 110 page guide to planning your event.

 

​

What it includes: A generic timeline of what vendors need to be contacted and when as well as when other aspects of your event should be done, detailed information on each vendor type, information on other event and decor related vendors or inclusions, printable forms with questions for each main vendor type, and sample day-of timelines.

Price: $75.00 for PDF version//$100.00 for printed and mailed version

Add personal consultation by telephone or video conference: $50.00 for first hour, $30.00 per hour after the first hour

Add customization after purchase: $100.00

Custom Wedding Planners Guide to Your DIY Wedding

 

What it is: A customized, extensive 110 page guide to planning your event. Customization done through an included one hour consultation.

What it includes: A timeline of what vendors need to be contacted and when they need to be contacted based on your timeline (as well as the same for other aspects that may be included in your event), average pricing schemes for at least 5 of each type of vendor in your desired location, reviews of those local vendors, personalized recommendations on other "smaller" wedding aspects, and sample day-of timelines based on your event desires.

Price: $175.00 for PDF version//$200.00 for printed and mailed version

Additional consultation by telephone or video conference: $50.00 for first hour, $30 per hour after the first hour

Adjustment of customized guide after guide has been completed: $75.00

Coordination and Consulting

If you are interested in hiring Chelsea Evelyn Consulting to be your wedding coordinator the following options are available:

Consulting via telephone, email, and video conference 

Base Price: $600.00

This includes:

     * Unlimited emails prior to the event

     * 10 hours of telephone and video conferencing with the event hosts

     * 8 hours of telephone and video conferencing with the chosen event vendors

     * 6 hours of other coordination related activities such as vendor research and organization

Any additional hours required beyond the amount listed above will be billed at $30.00 per hour

Day-of Coordination in person within 50 miles of Charleston, SC

Base Price: $850.00

This includes:

     * Unlimited emails prior to the event

     * 100 miles of travel for the event

     * Day-of Coordination (See note following these offerings for information on what day-of

       coordination includes)

Additional fees may apply should services be required in the days before the event such as set up or ceremony rehearsal to be discussed and billed at $30.00 per hour

Weekend Coordination in person including long distance travel

Base Price: $1,200.00Price of roundtrip ticket or mileage from Charleston, South Carolina to event location (and accommodations if applicable)

This includes:

     * Unlimited emails prior to the event

     * 100 miles of travel for the event

     * Commitment to travel to the event location, generally arriving Wednesday and leaving

       Sunday

     * Day-of Coordination (See note following these offerings for information on what day-of

       coordination includes) plus any services needed the week (Wednesday and on) leading up to

       the event

Additional fees may apply should services be required in the days before the event such as set up or ceremony rehearsal to be discussed and billed at $30.00 per hour

Full Coordination in person within 50 miles of Charleston, SC

Base Price: $1,600.00

This includes:

     * Unlimited emails prior to the event

     * 10 hours of telephone, video conferencing, or in person meetings with the event hosts

     * 8 hours of telephone, video conferencing, or in person meetings with the chosen event

       vendors

     * 6 hours of other coordination related activities such as vendor research and organization

     * 250 miles of travel leading up to and including the wedding weekend for any in person

       meetings with wedding hosts or vendors

     * Day-of Coordination (See note following these offerings for information on what day-of

       coordination includes)

Any additional hours required beyond the amount listed above will be billed at $30.00 per hour

Any additional travel required beyond 100 miles will be billed at the IRS 2022 mileage rate of $0.625 per mile

Full Coordination in person including long distance travel

Base Price: $1,800.00 + Price of roundtrip ticket/mileage from Charleston, South Carolina to event location (and accommodations if applicable)

This includes:

     * Unlimited emails prior to the event

     * 10 hours of telephone, video conferencing, or in person meetings with the event hosts

     * 8 hours of telephone, video conferencing, or in person meetings with the chosen event

       vendors

     * 6 hours of other coordination related activities such as vendor research and organization

     * Long weekend commitment to travel to the event location, generally Wednesday to Monday

     * Day-of Coordination (See note following these offerings for information on what day-of

       coordination includes) 

Any additional hours required beyond the amount listed above will be billed at $30.00 per hour

Notes regarding coordination:

* The decision to accept a complete planning event is at the discretion of the coordinator and will involve free discussion of the event prior to any contracts are drawn up

* Likewise, complete planning for any event is subject to availability depending on the date that is chosen by the wedding hosts

* Any additional fees that need to be added on to either package will be discussed prior to execution (this may include additional hours, additional mileage, or - if doing an in person event - the addition of accommodations depending on the distance and location. 

* Day-of Coordination includes (but may not be limited to) time line creation for the day of the event prior to the event, execution of that timeline, set up of decor, coordination of all vendors on the day of, ceremony coordination (directing bridal party, directing guests, directing any other ceremony participants such as ushers, musicians, officiant, etc), directing cues during the reception for reception related events, and clean up after the end of the reception.

* When booking a day-of coordination package these additional fees may apply:

   - Set up required day prior to the event is an additional $250.00

   - Ceremony rehearsal the day prior can also be added for $150.00

   - Any other coordination services needed any day other than the day of the event - such as tent set up

      or vendor meetings - will be billed at $30.00 per hour
