Thankful and Grateful

Happy Thanksgiving! The holiday season is a time for many things, being thankful for what we have being at the top of that list. I want you to know, though, that the thankfulness that I express for the things and the people I list in this post is not exclusive to this time of the year.

If you're over on my social media you will have seen the three groups of people I thanked over the last few days, but I'll repeat them here!

First, I thanked all of you, my followers! You may be family or friend, former client or future client, or a stranger to me. I thank you!! The social media world, and having a presence in it, can be hard - especially for a small business like me. So I am grateful for every last one of my followers who like, share, and comment on posts. It's truly so helpful to increasing the amount of people who might see my business and want to work with me!

Second, I thanked my clients specifically! I am so blessed to have worked with some incredible couples over the years. Being trusted to bring your events together has been just absolutely amazing! I can't imagine how I've gotten so lucky but I am so thankful that I have. Then, of course, there are all those future clients whom I know will bring just as much joy to the job.

Third, I thanked my family! My husband is so supportive of my wedding coordination dreams - even though it mostly means that I am home with the kids right now. My children are so loving, a little crazy, and just absolutely are two of the reasons that I keep doing what I'm doing! I hope that they see me not giving up on my dreams and know that they shouldn't either.

More things I'm thankful for...

  • My husband's career taking us to new places that I definitely never would have lived in otherwise and subsequently meeting some of the most amazing people I am grateful to call some of my best friends.

  • My sister completing her chemo and radiation journey with breast cancer this year! So grateful to have such a strong and amazing sister to look up to.

  • Watching the bond that my two children are forming. It is truly a beautiful thing to be able to witness and I am so grateful for the journey that motherhood is taking me on.

  • A roof over our heads and food in our bellies - especially today for Thanksgiving!

  • Friendship that helps keep us sane and brings us into each other's lives - for holidays and otherwise.

  • The ability to move my body and be active - so that I can run in heels at all my events!

  • ...and SO MUCH more!

Happy Thanksgiving! And, as always, happy planning!!
